Measure over the fullest part of your breasts

1
Get the right fit. This is critical to buying the perfect underwire bra. You can either do it yourself using a tape measure and an online calculator, or get a bra fitting from your local lingerie store. Once you have a general idea of what size you are, try on the next size up and the next size down to find the perfect fit.

2
Move around. When you're trying on an underwire bra, you need to move around in the dressing room to simulate what you do each and every day. It should feel comfortable and supportive; you shouldn't feel the wires pinching or poking you.

3
Measure over the fullest part of your breasts sexy lingerie store, ensuring that the tape measure is straight and not pulled too tightly. Write down this number.

4
Subtract your rib-cage measurement from your breast measurement in order to determine your cup size. A difference of one inch is an A cup, while two inches is a B cup, three inches is a C cup, four inches is a D cup, five inches is an E cup and so on.

5
Put together your rib-cage measurement and your cup letter to determine your nursing bra size. For example, if your rib cage measured 40 inches and you have a D cup, then you will purchase a nursing bra in 40D.

Try on bras. Check each minimizing bras for spillover in the underarm and breast area. The sides of the bra under the arms should lay flat against your skin. If not, the bra is too small and you should go up in size. Also go up in size if your breasts are spilling out of the cups.

Try on various styles of minimizing bras with different styles of clothing. This will be the true test to determine if the bra looks and feels great on you. Bring clothes that you plan to wear regularly with your minimizing bra. This will allow you to see how your body will look every day. If there are bulges or problem areas, try on a different style or go up in size until you find the perfect fit.

Think about comfort when shopping for a minimizing bra. Since these bras can be restricting, it is a good idea to keep each bra on for a moment and ask yourself if it will be comfortable to wear all day long.
